The International Plastic Modellers’ Society (IPMS) Philippines, Bert Anido Chapter, is a community of scale model enthusiasts dedicated to the art of building and showcasing plastic models. Founded in honor of Alberto “Bert” Anido, a pioneer in the Philippine scale modeling community, our club provides a platform for modelers of all skill levels to connect, learn, and share their passion.
About Us
The idea of starting a scale modeling club was sparked by Bert Anido, a businessman and avid modeler. He had a large collection and was a member of clubs in both the United Kingdom and the USA. Bert met with a group of friends and fellow modelers at his residence to create a formal club. On November 6, 2008, he and a handful of friends founded the club to provide a space for fellow Filipino modelers.
